Ανακοινώθηκαν οι υποψηφιότητες των φετινών βραβείων κινουμένων σχεδίων Annie, με 5 ταινίες να διεκδικούν το βραβείο της καλύτερης animation ταινίας. Φέτος προστέθηκε μια νέα κατηγορία στη λίστα των βραβείων Annie, αυτής της καλύτερης ανεξάρτητης ταινίας. Η τελετή απονομής των 43ων ετήσιων βραβείων Annie θα πραγματοποιηθεί στις 06 Φεβρουαρίου στο Royce Hall του Πανεπιστημίου της Καλιφόρνια. Αναλυτικά οι υποψηφιότητες:
